During minus tides, the ocean rolls back revealing sandy stretches of beach, spotted with rocks and coal beds that hold educational and entertaining opportunities! Enjoy tide pooling by carefully working your way around rocks (the sand next to some larger rocks is a bit like quicksand, very easy to loose your boots! Flip over small chunks of coal to view all kinds of sea creatures. It’s an afternoon sure to delight the whole family, just be prepared to take a shower after!
